Thank you to everyone for another great show in December. Planning has begun for the 2015 GTE. Our official date is Sunday December 6, 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 2015 will bring many of the same vendors you know and love, plus new ones who you'll definitely want to meet.

We look forward to another great show and we hope to see you there.

The show is near full capacity this year packed with over 310 tables of dealers and exhibitors including eleven brand new dealers and two new model railroad displays. One railroad display is a 20 by 25 foot G-scale layout and the other is a 6 by 20 foot LEGO railroad! Our free show clinic schedule has been filled out and includes a talk for beginners about the hobby, a “make and take” clinic on building an HO scale boxcar (where you keep the boxcar you build!), and a new clinic on making evergreen trees that is both easy and inexpensive. Please see our clinic schedule under “Announcements” on this page for more information. Starting today our ever faithful team of volunteers has been planting over 300 road signs in the capital region and surrounding communities and our Times Union Ads are coming soon!

The Great Train Extravaganza is pleased to announce a full clinic schedule this year sponsored by Hudson Berkshire Division of the NMRA. There will be 3 clinics throughout the day held in meeting room 7 next to the Egg.
